Option 1: Make a small change to our one of our existing software applications
Price: $500 flat fee
Description: You can browse through our existing applications here to decide if one of these might be close to fitting your needs. Changes that would qualify for this fee include, but are not limited to, one of the following changes:

Different range / sensitivity settings for the sensor

Different frequency range of interest

Faster or slower sampling rates

Changes in the display (digital meter vs. graph, etc.)

Support of a slightly different sensor

Option 2: Build a basic data acquisition (DAQ) system
Price: $2,500 flat fee
Description: We can build a complete data acquisition (DAQ) software system with the following elements:

Support for 1 to 4 sensors (must be the same type of sensor)

Compatibility with National Instruments data acquisition (DAQ) hardware – we can help you pick out the appropriate device

Sampling rates from a “Datalogging” type application that would take measurement every minute day or hour to very fast sampling rates to capture a time trace. Sometimes you need a combination of both!

Graphs, meters, start/stop buttons, and other user interface elements laid out where you need them
-
Colors / logos of your choice

90 days of free e-mail technical support (longer support contracts are available)
Option 3: Build a custom data acquisition system with a dedicated LabVIEW programmer
Price: Hourly ($200 / hr), excluding travel expenses if applicable, 2 day minimum
Description: This option is available if you need to do more than acquire data from a single type of sensor. You may have additional requirements that include one or more of the following:

Multiple types of sensors that require their own signal conditioning / data processing in parallel or synchronized

A high channel count data acquisition system with 5 sensors or more
-
Decisions that have to be made based on the data: e-mails sent based on data values, voltages turned on or off, etc.

More sophisticated / automated reporting requirements

More user interaction than simply “start/stop”
