This application is designed to capture a very short vibration event (like the movement of a robot arm or constantly varying machine that's briefly steady-state) from an accelerometer and calculate the vibration in g's, velocity inches/sec (ips), and displacement (mils). It constantly monitors the vibration data and displays the time waveform. When you see the event in the time waveform, pause the program and highlight the vibration event you want to analyze. The frequency content is instantaneously diplayed for you to adjust your selection as necessary. When satisfied, you can export the data to Microsoft Excel. The acceleration, velocity, and displacement values at each frequency are calculated and added to the in the spreadsheet.
The software is compatible with
National Instruments data acquisition devices:
The leading provider of PC-based data acquisition devices for PCI (plug into the desktop), USB, etc. You can use a recommended hardware bundle from us or you can use your own National Instruments hardware from the approved list on our
ReadME file. The sensor options we recommend will work with any of the hardware bundles in the
ReadME file.
The analysis and report generation is up to you. The sole purpose of the software is to make it very easy to get from your seismic accelerometer to Microsoft Excel. The power to graph, present, and analyze is in your hands: We do not try to pigeon hole you into some proprietary format with limited reporting flexibility.
We strive to make the installation and setup very simple - please e-mail us at
